2010 Design School Senior Thesis: The Artist & The Axe (EXPAND)
In the Spring of 2010, I spent 6 months developing, researching, pitching, and prototyping methods for making classic guitar designs more ergonomic. The process included 30+ presentations of various aspects of the project, from purpose and strategy to material selection, as well as weeks in the Art School Wood Shop overseen by late shop technician John Martin. The project culminated in a series of final presentations for the acclaimed Division of Design graduate Design Show to showcase my research.
